Elk Vale Cemetery is dedicated to providing the final resting place and graves for those that live in Meade County within 12 miles of Elk Vale Cemetery or who have family members interred in the cemetery.
Elk Vale Cemetery is located on a hilltop on Elk Vale Road overlooking the beautiful Elk Creek Valley.
The land for Elk Vale Cemetery was set aside by David and Sarah Bennet in 1892. It was incorporated in 1892 and 1956 and 2024.
The cemetery is cared for by volunteers and donations.

4) Sexton -? (We are looking for a volunteer that will act as Sexton. A sexton would handle calls from people wishing to buy a gravesite, checking if they are within the guidelines for using the cemetery, help stake out the gravesite, collecting the necessary information and registering it with the county.)
